Recruit a co-op student for the January to April 2019 work term.  Hire a co-op student from the following programs:

Undergraduate:

Applied Water Science, Business, Economics, and double degree programs in Business and Mathematics, Business and Computer Science, Business and Financial Mathematics

Graduate:

Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Finance

• On campus interviews: October 11 - 23, 2018
• Employer rankings due: October 23, 2018 by 9 p.m.
• Employers learn results of match: October 26, 2018
• Continuous employment period begins: October 29, 2018

Student Work-Integrated Learning Program (SWILP)

The Federal Government of Canada may be able to support the hire with new SWILP co-op funding opportunities.

The Government of Canada's Student Work-Integrated Learning Program (SWILP) is administered by Employment and Social Development Canada.

The following partners currently provide funding for the SWILP program:

• Canadian Council for Aviation & Aerospace (CCAA)
• BioTalent Canada
• ECO Canada
• Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC)
• Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC)

Funding:

• While there may be some variation depending on the partner, in general, organizations may receive $5,000 - $7,000 per co-op student for the fall 2018 and winter 2019 terms
• 50% up to $5,000 for all students
• 70% up to $7,000 for students within under-represented groups in STEM (females, indigenous people, persons with disabilities, newcomers in Canada five years or less, and first-year students
