The snow and cold weather provided the perfect backdrop for a new Netflix movie filming in Brantford. Let It Snow is making its temporary home at the site of the former Johnny Be Good Diner on Paris Road.
A circulation letter to residents near the diner describes the holiday story as, “When a once-in-century snowstorm hits a small town on Christmas Eve, several high school seniors discover unexpected opportunities as well as complications that test their friendships, love lives, and aspirations for the future. Based on the book by YA bestsellers, John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle.”
Filming takes place from Wednesday, March 6 to Saturday, March 9. Brantford Police Services will assist with intermittent traffic stoppages and traffic control during filming.
