The Digital Main Street Community Collaboration Project, a partnership between the Brantford-Brant Business Resource Enterprise Centre (BRC) and Hamilton’s Innovation Factory, recently launched in an effort to assist restaurants and retailers with their digital marketing efforts. Through the project, 44 Brantford restaurants and retailers will receive digital marketing assistance in 2021.

Businesses selected for the program will receive a one-year subscription to, a locally-owned digital marketing platform and directory that will offer them a suite of digital marketing tools including ecommerce functionality, online gift card sales, social media scheduling and preferred placement in’s directory of over 3,000 locally-owned businesses.  Selected businesses will also have access to the BRC’s Digital Main Street Transformation Teams who will offer help with graphic design, web design, copywriting, UX/UI and digital marketing.

The 44 businesses included in this funding will be restaurants and retailers who have a physical presence within the borders of the Downtown Brantford Business Improvement Area. Downtown businesses have been contacted, and are still encouraged to schedule an appointment to apply.  Those that meet the criteria, but are outside of the Downtown Brantford BIA are able to join a waitlist.
