The Brantford-Brant Resource Centre (BRC) is seeking to raise awareness about the Digital Main Street Grant that is available to help small businesses in Brantford improve their online capabilities.

A $10,000 grant from the Ontario government was received by the BRC to establish a Digital Service Squad, which consists of trained experts who will visit, discuss, and assist business owners by assessing their business’ digital-readiness and set up Google Business, at no cost. The Digital Service Squad can also help with back-office systems like payroll and inventory.

There are three main features included in the Digital Main Street program.

This offers participants a free Shopify website for 90 days and hands-on training to set up, launch and market an online store so they will continue with a successful e-commerce channel. For more information about this program and the link to apply, please visit
