Filming Notice: September 25

Recognizing how welcoming film contributes to short-term economic investment, cultural development, and civic pride in the community, the City of Brantford Economic Development, Tourism & Cultural Initiatives Department is pleased to host the cast and crew of “Vladimir”.

The production will be filming interior and exterior scenes at 100 Wellington Street. Affected residents and businesses are being notified. 

Crews will conduct preparation, filming, and wrap-up activities in the vicinity between September 23 and September 26.

Anticipated Impacts

Road Closures

Under police supervision, the following roads will be closed on September 24 and 26 from 6 am to 11 pm:

• George St. (Nelson to Darling).

Under police supervision, the following roads will be closed on September 25 from 6 am to 11 pm:

• Nelson St. (George to Charlotte);
• Wellington St. (Market to Charlotte); and,
• George St. (Nelson to Darling).

Intermittent Traffic Stoppages

Under police supervision, the following traffic stoppages will occur on September 25 from 6 am to 11 pm:

• Nelson St. at George St.

Special Effects and Noise

No special effects and no excessive noise are planned.

Flags

The Canadian flag flown at old City Hall (100 Wellington St.) will be temporary replaced with an American flag on September 25.
