A Great Day of Learning, Collaboration, and Regional Partnership

This week, the City of Brantford was pleased to host the 2026 Regional Economic Development Event at the Walter Gretzky Golf Course, bringing together economic development professionals and partners from across the region.

The day provided an opportunity to learn about the projects, priorities, and initiatives underway in Corporation of Haldimand County, Norfolk Economic Development, County of Brant, Six Nations Group, and Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie, while also sharing updates on the work being advanced by City of Brantford Economic Development and Tourism & Culture teams throughout 2026. From business attraction and workforce development to tourism, community investment, and regional growth, the discussions highlighted the value of working together, sharing ideas, and learning from one another.
