Connecting With Mexico

Global Affairs Canada has shared an opportunity for Canadian businesses interested in developing commercial relationships with Mexican companies across a diverse range of sectors.

On May 7, Mexico's Secretary of Economy, Marcelo Ebrard, will lead an inbound business mission to Toronto featuring companies and organizations from across Mexico. As part of the program, the Mexican government will coordinate pre-arranged business-to-business (B2B) meetings between Canadian and Mexican firms seeking opportunities for partnerships, sourcing, investment, and market expansion.

Participating Canadian companies will have the opportunity to connect with businesses operating in sectors including:

  • Infrastructure
  • Agri-food and agriculture
  • Manufacturing and advanced manufacturing
  • Pharmaceuticals and life sciences
  • Energy
  • Logistics and transportation
  • Education and training services
  • Innovation and intellectual property
  • Creative industries
  • Investment funds and financial services

Canadian businesses interested in exploring opportunities in the Mexican market are encouraged to register their interest through the Government of Mexico's official mission website.
